Valves Correspondence Workshop

Course Description –

This workshop will enhance your knowledge of valves used in the treatment plant, distribution and collection systems. Students will examine cut a-ways of pressure-reducing and other valves.  Topics covered include:

 

*Introduction to valves

*Shutoff and Flow Control Valves

*Specialized Valves

*Valve Boxes and Valve Vaults

*Valve Operation

*Valve Maintenance

*Fire Hydrants

 

 How does this work?

A Packet will be mailed to you containing workbooks and quizzes.

Students will also be given instructions to go to a drop box.

The Drop Box Will Contain:

Recordings of an instructor teaching from a power point slide shows.

 

How do I get my contact hours? As soon as payment is received and submitted quizzes are graded with a 70% or more, we will submit a roster report.
