Course Description -

This course is based on PA DEP Training Module 9. The purpose of the course is to provide information relative to Basics of Pumps and Hydraulics.

 

Topics covered include:

*Basic Hydraulics

*Force, Pressure, and Head

*Velocity and Flow Rate

*Open Channel (Gravity) Flow

*Energy Losses

*Pressure Flow in Force Mains

*Centrifugal Pumps

 

 How does this work?

A Packet will be mailed to you containing workbooks and quizzes.

Students will also be given instructions to go to a drop box.

 

The Drop Box Will Contain:

Recordings of an instructor teaching from a power point slide show.

 

How do I get my contact hours? As soon as payment is received and submitted quizzes are graded with a 70% or more, we will submit a roster report.
